INGREDIENTS
- 1 large egg
- 1/4 cup whole milk
- 2 cups panko
- 1 1/2 teaspoons loosely packed lemon zest
- 2 tablespoons dried tarragon
- 1/4 cup Old Bay Seasoning
- 4 cups vegetable oil
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 pounds green heirloom tomatoes, cut into 1/2-inch-thick slices
Spicy Bacon Dip (from abirdinthekitchen.com)
1/4 cup fat free plain yogurt
1/4 cup light mayonnaise
2 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
1 teaspoon sriracha hot sauce
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
Mix all ingredients together in a bowl. Serve with fried green tomatoes
